Creative Futures is a Creative Scotland talent development programme bringing organisations and individuals together to develop the skills, talents and potential of Scotland’s creative sector. Most projects are initiated and delivered by organisations, with particular experience and skills in their field, bringing together creative individuals to interact and learn from each other.

Projects vary widely, and include fellowships, residencies, exploratory investigations, inter-disciplinary exchange, cross-sectoral collaborations, and other developmental activities. Whatever their form, projects share a common goal: to inspire, motivate and support Scotland’s creative practitioners. Through the variety of project forms, the programme is seeking to improve our understanding of talent development, and to share different approaches and models more widely.

The content on this site is provided by the organisations and participants involved in each project, to showcase their projects, to advertise opportunities to get involved, and to share learning and approaches with others.

This site also seeks to gather together and promote access to other talent development opportunities for creative practitioners in Scotland.
