How to use the network as a casual browser not connected to a residency

If you aren’t part of a Creative Futures residency but are interested in the the scheme; are keen to find out about art projects or you enjoy collaborating with others, then read these few points for how to make the most out of Creative Futures.

1. Introduce yourself
Write a blog or join this discussion to tell us all about you and why you are a member of Creative Futures network. Maybe you are looking for people to collaborate with or perhaps you’ve been part of a residency in the past? Say hello and don’t be shy. Make sure you include an image or two to make the post visual for the audience.

2. Make friends & support others
Find like-minded artists and interesting organisations on the site, request friendships and find out more about them. Interact and connect.

3. Connect & interact
Do you have questions about residencies? Ask them. Do you want to share your own experiences about a residency you were part of? Write about them. Through commenting, writing your own blogs or starting relevant discussion you can be involved in the Creative Futures network and find a wider community of arts minded people to connect with.

If you have any questions about the above information or you would like to make some suggestions, email us here.
