I am currently working with Primary 5 at Mosstodloch Primary School and with the gaelic class (P5 – P7) at Craighall Primary School in Tain. Both schools are really engaged with the project with the first of their Lumiere minutes being completed this week. Both classes are already generating lots of ideas for what they can do so at this stage the possibilities are really exciting. I think the location of both these schools will feature heavily in their planning as there are unique opportunities to explore locations and unusual settings. The concept of the Understanding Cinema project is working as a great stimulus for films and a new direction in the way that I engage with moving image education.
