EIFF is delighted to be offering a second year of our Composers Lab, now extended to five days, where eight emerging composers will be invited to Edinburgh to learn from leading film composers, directors, music editors and supervisors who will lend their insight, advice and expertise. 

We are also thrilled to be able to announce our partnership with Savalas, one of the UK's leading sound post production companies, to launch a new Sound Lab for emerging Sound Designers. This would be a truly unique opportunity for anyone interested in understanding feature film sound from beginning to end. We will emphasise the creative practice of film sound design and demonstrate this with hands on experience in a real feature film facility.

We are now accepting applications for both these exciting initiatives which will run during the Film Festival in June.
